Company Profile

CBI-electric: medium voltage was established in April 2007 and started trading on 1 October 2007.

• Factory based in Ekurhuleni Metro (presently only assembling mini-subs)
  
  
• Power Transformers up to 500MVA/400kV
  
  
• Distribution Transformers; SCE (China) & WTC (Aus) technology agreements
  • Ground Mounted – 315kVA to 1000kVA (Approvals)
  • Pole Mounted – 16kVA Single Phase to 500kVA Three Phase (SANS 780 approved)
    
    
• Metal Clad Switchgear – up to 35kV to 2 500A/40kA (IEC 62271-100 & 200 approved)
  
  
• Protection Relays (All makes locally sourced and fitted)
  
  
• Miniature Substations (SANS 1029 approved) SF6 and Vacuum RMU (Oil only as special) 315kVA to 1000kVA.
